Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field, and seven years of experience in identity management or related field, including two years of supervisory/people management experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting IAM and identity governance platforms, experience with cloud IAM services (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure AD).
Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, administration, and continuous optimization of enterprise identity governance and access management platforms.
  • Ensure secure, automated, and compliant identity lifecycle management across employee and non-employee populations while supporting operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and scalable access controls.
  • Oversee core identity governance platforms, role-based access automation, access certification programs, and identity data integrations.
  • Provide people leadership, drive adoption of IAM best practices, and partner with IT, Security, HR, Revenue Cycle, and business leaders to embed IAM capabilities into critical enterprise workflows such as Day One Access and non-employee onboarding.
  • Oversee configuration, maintenance, and optimization of IAM and identity governance platforms to support provisioning, access management, and compliance processes.
  • Direct day-to-day administration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of OpenText NetIQ and Saviynt platforms, including workflow configuration, UI customization, and integration testing to support Identity Lifecycle Management.
  • Partner with operations and application teams to align IAM system capabilities with business requirements while minimizing downtime and maximizing automation efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance metrics (uptime, response times, throughput) and implement proactive enhancements to support scalability and regulatory changes.
  • Direct development and enterprise adoption of identity data systems and identity fabrics that embed IAM capabilities into critical workflows such as Revenue Cycle operations and Day One Access onboarding.
  • Design and maintain scalable tools, automation frameworks, and APIs to support mass identity movements and third-party system integrations.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness across identity sources, directories, and downstream systems.
  • Lead delivery of advanced role-mining analytics leveraging IAM platforms, specialized commercial tools, and custom analytics to enable efficient Day One Access for new hires and internal transfers.
  • Drive adoption of RBAC models to automate a majority of entitlement provisioning, reducing manual access requests and operational burden.
  • Partner with stakeholders to continuously refine role definitions, entitlement mappings, and access models based on business needs and audit findings.
  • Direct implementation and optimization of access certification methodologies and campaign management tools within IAM systems and related applications.
  • Design certification workflows that enable managers to efficiently review, validate, and revoke access, reducing over-privileging risk.
  • Facilitates periodic access recertification campaigns for employees and non-employees, including sponsored identities.
  • Monitor certification completion rates, escalate gaps, and enforce SLAs while incorporating feedback to improve usability and effectiveness.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that provide audit-ready documentation and actionable insights for leadership.
  • Leverages IAM platforms, specialized tools, and custom solutions to support non-employee identity onboarding, access fulfillment, and lifecycle governance.
  • Ensure sponsored and contingent worker accounts are governed appropriately to prevent retention of obsolete or excessive access.
  • Lead, coaches, and develops IAM staff to achieve high levels of performance, engagement, and accountability.
  • Foster employee engagement through transparent communication, participation in process design, and objective performance evaluation.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and document performance issues in accordance with organizational policy.
  • Develops or oversees technical and professional training to strengthen IAM and security competencies.
  • Partners with leadership on budget planning and forecasting to ensure effective and efficient IAM operations.
  • Communicates system performance, risk posture, compliance metrics, and staffing considerations clearly to executive stakeholders.
  • Provides recommendations for service improvements, automation opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
