Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in electrical system design, specifically power distribution
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required
  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and local building codes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical power distribution systems, including low and medium voltage systems
  • Prepare electrical plans, schematics, single-line diagrams, and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Coordinate with architects, structural, mechanical, and civil engineers throughout the design and construction process
  • Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and circuiting based on NEC and other applicable codes
  • Participate in field surveys, site visits, and construction administration activities as needed
  • Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and assist with troubleshooting during construction phases
  • Ensure designs meet client requirements, project budgets, and timelines
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry standards in electrical engineering and building systems
Desired Qualifications
  • EIT certification is preferred; PE license is a plus
  • Experience working on commercial, healthcare, educational, or industrial building projects
  • Familiarity with lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and emergency power systems
