Requirements
  • The candidate must currently hold Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses in lieu of Series 66.

Responsibilities
  • The advisor develops a book of business to meet and exceed established performance hurdles.
  • The advisor prioritizes sourcing prospective clients, capitalizes on referrals, assesses customer needs, refers customers to appropriate internal specialists, and executes customized solutions to meet client needs.
  • The advisor recommends investment products and services suitable for prospects based on their objectives, resources, time horizon, risk profile, and preferences.
  • The advisor balances investment growth, referral activities, customer follow-up, prospect building, administrative compliance, and personal growth and development through daily and longer-term planning.
  • The advisor organizes and manages resources, including time, people, and budget, to run a productive practice.
  • The advisor seeks specialist expertise, where appropriate, to identify planning and investment strategies for clients.
  • The advisor handles inbound inquiries from leads regarding Merrill offerings.
  • The advisor positions the capabilities of Merrill and Bank of America.
  • The advisor collects necessary client profile data and follows standard know-your-customer procedures to open accounts as appropriate.
  • The advisor serves as an interim Financial Advisor by recommending suitable investment products and services and servicing client accounts.
  • The advisor documents all client interactions and opportunities accurately in Salesforce.

Bank of America cut its Apple price target to $370 from $380 whilst maintaining a Buy rating, following the iPhone Duo launch under new CEO John Ternus. Analyst Wamsi Mohan cited lower-than-expected iPhone pricing pressuring gross margins amid elevated component costs. The iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable phone, features a 7.6-inch inner display and 5.4-inch outer display, both supporting Dynamic Island and 120Hz ProMotion. Starting at $1,999, it launches 23 October with pre-orders opening 16 October. Mohan called the foldable the event's standout, noting its potential to reach mainstream audiences through features like dual capture in FaceTime. Citi described it as Apple's biggest new hardware category since the Watch and AirPods.

Dell raises $5B in bond sale as AI server demand drives stock up over 400%

Dell is raising $5 billion through an investment-grade bond sale, attracting approximately $23 billion in investor orders at peak demand — nearly five times the offering size. The company, initially targeting $4 billion, is issuing bonds across four tranches with maturities from three to 10 years. Proceeds will repay notes maturing this year, including $2.3 billion due in October, and fund general corporate purposes. The sale reflects strong investor confidence in Dell's AI server business, which has driven the company's stock to quadruple this year.
