  • 10+ years of management experience, preferably in a consultative employee benefits insurance environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in a senior-level client management leadership role supporting professional services to clients and prospects.
  • Active Texas Life, Accident & Health License or ability to obtain.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regionally as required.
Responsibilities
  • Drive efficiency and consistency opportunities in collaboration with the regional Client Services Leader and determine which functions should exist within the Client Services organization versus the Operations team.
  • Ensure regional best practices and workflows are leveraged in each market, including deployment of new strategies.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, procedures, and client deliverables to optimize service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure regional alignment through collaboration with other regional and local Employee Health & Benefits leaders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand resources and services to drive client retention and growth.
  • Coordinate national Employee Health & Benefits Operations initiatives and determine which can drive value to the current model.
  • Coordinate training and education to support national operations initiatives.
  • Lead the Regional Employee Health & Benefits resource groups, providing strategic guidance and direction.
  • Participate in educating and communicating the agency's value story and operational efficiency opportunities with new partner firms.
  • Support and carry out corporate policies, processes, and practices, serving as a change agent for the organization.
  • Support compliance needs of the client services organization, including development of a staffing model, best practices, and ongoing management of the function.
  • Stay informed about insurance technical knowledge, market trends, agency automation, company information, and other operating techniques.
  • Support full utilization of automation to improve customer service and office efficiency.
  • Promote a positive culture and maximize the strengths of each employee.
  • Serve as a resource for Employee Health & Benefits leaders and team members by providing guidance and counsel on account management operational practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong, effective business relationships with other regional leaders and managers.
  • Complete other projects as requested by the manager or other members of the executive team.
