Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in PLM integration and enterprise application development, including extensive experience with PTC Windchill, is required.
  • Expert knowledge of Windchill Info*Engine, Windchill Java API, REST and SOAP web services, OData, XML, JSON, and SQL is required.
  • Extensive experience integrating Windchill with SAP, Oracle ERP, or other enterprise business applications is required.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD integration patterns and engineering data exchange processes is required.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud, SAP Cloud Integration, or similar technologies is required.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, JMS, RabbitMQ, or enterprise messaging platforms is required.
  • Strong Java programming skills and experience with enterprise integration frameworks are required.
  • Experience with troubleshooting, analytical work, documentation, communication, and technical leadership is required.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade integrations between PTC Windchill and ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Architect and implement CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, AutoCAD, and other engineering design systems.
  • Develop and optimize REST APIs, SOAP web services, Info*Engine tasks, OData services, and Java-based integration components.
  • Build enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud, SAP Cloud Integration, Apache Camel, or similar technologies.
  • Design scalable event-driven integration solutions using Kafka, JMS, or message queue technologies.
  • Optimize integration performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability and reliability across enterprise environments.
  • Support Windchill upgrades, migrations, API versioning, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with PLM, ERP, Manufacturing, Engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
  • Develop technical documentation, integration specifications, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
  • Lead technical design reviews, establish integration best practices, and mentor junior developers and integration engineers.
Desired Qualifications
  • PTC Windchill Certified Professional certification or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with ThingWorx, Industrial IoT, Digital Thread, or Smart Manufacturing integrations.
  • Experience with API Management platforms such as Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft API Manager, or Azure API Management.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native integration services on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience implementing DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and containerized integration services.
  • Experience supporting regulated industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Manufacturing, or Defense.
