Requirements
  • A minimum high school education and four years of experience working in a team environment.
  • A current and active Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Proficiency with modern information technology tools and infrastructure technologies.
  • Ability to work rotating watches in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Ability to work shifts, overtime, holidays, and weekends as required.
  • Ability to establish confidence and credibility with managers and senior-level Navy leaders and foster open communication within teams.
  • Ability to work effectively with civilians, military personnel, and contractors.
  • Ability to handle multiple issues and assignments concurrently using considerable judgment and initiative.
  • Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope while following detailed instructions.

  • Ability to perform physical activities including bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials consistent with established one-person lift guidelines.

  • Successful completion of a background investigation is required for employment.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations as a member of a 24/7 support team.
  • Monitor mission and support systems, including generators and HVAC systems, and use technical tools to resolve technical issues affecting the mission.
  • Monitor information technology mission equipment, including servers, clients, routers, switches, and telecommunications cabling.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting to resolve problems and act as an escalation liaison between operations and support elements for rapid restoration notification.
  • Provide timely updates to customers, senior leadership, and the Program Manager for situational awareness documentation.
  • Conduct pass-down briefings, maintain pass-down logs, and present information to incoming watch teams.
  • Train and mentor newly assigned and junior watch standers.
  • Prepare and administer operations procedures and initiate ongoing updates and changes.
  • Conduct routine project status meetings with government project managers and the company project team, identify project challenges and risks, and offer alternatives to achieve success and improve enterprise processes.
  • Facilitate or participate in creating document deliverables, including Standard Operating Procedures, system assessments, and project status reports, before submission to the government.
  • Instruct craft personnel and technical staff in equipment and systems operations, equipment maintenance methods, safe work practices, and procedures, and administer apprenticeship programs.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met and tasks remain within project scope.
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of an organization, branch, plant, or department by performing complex technical work and directing others as assigned.
  • Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and video equipment in the Global Security Operations Center.
  • Work with other business units and act as a liaison during emergencies, crisis response, and the communication of business information.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on security equipment and access-control systems.
  • Complete incident reports and work orders and assist with investigations.
