Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in application development, with at least five (5) years in GIS application development.
  • Proven experience in documenting code and performing version control using industry-standard tools.
  • Proficiency in .NET, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, Python, and Java for application development.
  • Familiarity with various RDBMS software, including but not limited to Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong technical written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively within a multi-discipline team.
  • U.S. Citizens willing to undergo the government issued background investigation process.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy geospatial applications and capabilities to meet business and mission requirements.
  • Create and maintain web-based GIS applications, ensuring optimal user experience and performance.
  • Maintain and create geospatial application program interfaces (APIs), including ESRI's ArcGIS Server APIs (JavaScript, REST, and Python).
  • Enhance APIs to facilitate seamless data access and integration.
  • Utilize multiple JavaScript libraries, including Dojo, jQuery, Leaflet, etc., to enhance geospatial functionality.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in geospatial technology and libraries.
  • Leverage your knowledge of past and current versions of geospatial software programs, including ESRI's ArcGIS products (ArcGIS Server, etc.).
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the ESRI Enterprise platform.
