Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in control systems engineering
  • Proficiency in control system programming (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, DCS)

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain control systems for PV, PV+Energy Storage, and standalone energy storage projects
  • Collaborate with SCADA and Controls developers to define and integrate plant control requirements
  • Oversee the procurement, configuration, and management of site servers and network infrastructure
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity measures to protect control systems and network infrastructure
  • Perform technical evaluations of emerging technologies in energy storage and control systems
  • Manage and coordinate with vendors for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of remote servers, switches, and firewalls
  • Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements, including those set by NERC, WECC, and interconnection facilities
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to control systems, cybersecurity protocols, and project specifications
