The Purpose:
As a Product Manager at Slickdeals, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative strategies to maximize marketplace value for both our community of savvy shoppers and our trusted merchants. You’ll take the lead in crafting a best-in-class experience that delights users, offering them exceptional deals while empowering merchants to thrive. With a customer-first mindset, you’ll champion the needs of our diverse shopper base, ensuring their journey is seamless, engaging, and rewarding.
Working closely with cross-functional teams—from engineering to marketing—you’ll drive product vision and execution with precision and creativity. You’ll collaborate with key executive stakeholders to align business objectives with user-centric solutions, with a focus on increasing customer retention and acquisition. Your ability to blend strategic thinking with practical execution will be critical in fostering long-lasting relationships and driving impactful growth.

What You’ll Do:
- Results-Driven Execution: Drive implementation processes to achieve key outcomes, focusing on tangible results and meaningful business impact.
- Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the development and refinement of the Slickdeals product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
- Product Launches: Execute end-to-end product launches efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful market entry and adoption.
- Collaborative Implementation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to effectively execute product strategies and achieve desired outcomes.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to guide implementation decisions and continually optimize product performance.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure alignment with stakeholders on outcome expectations and maintain consistent communication on progress.
- Business Case Development: Contribute to developing compelling business cases, outlining the value proposition, market opportunity, and ROI for proposed product initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, design, or equivalent. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of outcome-driven Product Management or equivalent work experience. Previous experience in a start-up consumer tech company launching truly new features preferred.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills focused on achieving measurable outcomes. Demonstrated examples of leading products from 0-1, pushing the envelope with innovation, and frequent ideation with key stakeholders
- Extreme Ownership: Demonstrated extreme ownership of business goals, with a commitment to hitting or exceeding key performance metrics quarterly.
- Startup Mentality: Comfortable with ambiguity, making fast-paced decisions, adapting to changes, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Data and Analytical Skills : Expertise in data analytics to inform product decisions and validate hypotheses.
- Design Thinking: Experience with user-centered design methodologies, including user research and iterative testing.
