Your Impact - #VRforGood
As a Program Manager on the Axon VR team, you will be driving new content development for our domestic public safety markets. You will work with our sales, TASER Training, and product teams across the country to produce VR training content that enables police agencies to scale their training programs in the most effective way, while working with both internal and external development studios to bring the content vision to life.
Our VR Team Culture
We believe that happy teams make the best products, so we foster an open team culture that encourages everyone to speak their mind, collaborate together, and have fun.
We believe we can only succeed if we deeply understand our customers and get to know them. We spend a lot of time with law enforcement officers to learn about their needs, watch their experience and see the real impact of our work. We also work closely with our Axon Community Impact team, along with other community subject experts to create our content and curriculum to reflect the needs of both law enforcement + community.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the project management leader for software and video production of content to ensure that all disciplines (Engineering, UX, Art, Content, Product) contributions are on scope, schedule and resourcing.

- Source and work with an extensive network of subject matter experts (SMEs) to research and define future training modules for our Simulator Training and Community Engagement Training platforms.
- Document and communicate throughout the content development lifecycle including concept, definition, production, and release. You’ll contribute to the direction and creation of future content, various learning pathways, and training and product documentation.
- Source, onboard, and work with external development studios, vendors, and contractors to help bring content projects to life.
- Lead regular planning and review sessions with key stakeholders, providing clear expectations and accountability while anticipating and mitigating risks ahead of time.
