Requirements

  • Has a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy earthmoving equipment, including dozers, excavators, trackhoes, and other heavy earthmoving equipment, on active jobsites.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely around crews, traffic, and active jobsites.
  • Perform grading and sitework activities on heavy civil construction projects.
  • Prepare and stabilize soil and other materials.
  • Clean and prepare jobsites.
  • Dig trenches, support excavation work, and clean debris as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and keep it in good working condition.
  • Communicate with the crew and supervisor to meet safety, production, and quality goals.
  • Assist with other duties as directed by the site supervisor.
