This position is based at our Accounting offices in Montpelier, Vermont. After a 4-6 month training period, employees will have the option to work from home 2 days per week, with the remaining days being on-site.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager by performing various duties related to the completion of timely and accurate monthly financial statements for Central Vermont Medical Center, including work papers for assigned general ledger accounts.

Knowledge of desktop PC applications (spreadsheets/word processing) and general accounting software necessary. General knowledge of health care accounting is preferred.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
