Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in US Payroll operations, ideally with multi-state payroll
  • Hands-on experience with or documented training in Workday Payroll
  • Dedication to maintaining compliance with all applicable laws/regulations

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day payroll processing tasks including, but not limited to, completing retroactive transactions, confirming one-time payments, uploading EIB mass transaction files, payroll on/off-boarding, and entering payroll inputs
  • Ensure consistency and integrity in payroll data
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company data
  • Complete periodic and ad-hoc reporting
  • Follow all Payroll Standard Operating Procedures and contribute to the on-going creation and maintenance of those procedures
  • Assist with testing and implementation of new technology and procedures
  • Monitor the efficiency and functionality of the Workday Payroll module and make recommendations for improvements as needed
  • Answer employee questions promptly with a high level of customer service
  • Identify payroll problems or concerns and escalate to the Head of US Payroll
  • Act as support and back-up for the Head of US Payroll
