Requirements
  • 4-8+ years of structural engineering experience in a consultancy setting.
  • A Professional Engineer license is required.
  • A Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
  • Seismic design experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work directly with clients.
  • Strong communication skills for meetings and job-site interactions.
  • Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, or RISA.
Responsibilities
  • Lead structural engineering projects from concept through construction administration.
  • Develop structural solutions across concrete, steel, mass timber, and wood.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior engineers and designers on projects.
  • Drive quality control and technical rigor across the project portfolio.
  • Contribute to business development through client relationships and repeat work.
  • Use the Holmes network for fire engineering, seismic expertise, and international peer support.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Structural Engineer license is preferred or may be actively pursued.
  • Experience with sports facilities is an opportunity to grow into, not a requirement.
