Requirements
  • Experience as a marketing generalist, potentially from a corporate, agency, consulting, or senior marketing background.
  • Experience working for or with a building-products manufacturer, construction-products business, or materials business.
  • Experience in trade, channel, business-to-business, distribution, specification, or merchant marketing.
  • Understanding of the relationship between a manufacturer, reseller, and end customer, including creating demand while helping the channel range, promote, and sell the product.
  • Ability to communicate and write effectively, exercise sound visual judgment, and use customer relationship management systems, digital marketing tools, and artificial intelligence.
  • Ability to work proactively and resourcefully with senior leadership, Sales, and external partners.
  • Willingness to learn technical products, construction markets, and the needs of different customer groups.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across a small team.
  • Ability to work hands-on and execute practical marketing activities independently.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the annual marketing strategy and calendar in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer, Sales team, and Leadership Team.
  • Identify priority markets, customer segments, and channels most likely to deliver commercial return.
  • Set priorities and budgets, recommend investment decisions, and improve marketing results.
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new products, market opportunities, and campaigns.
  • Measure marketing return on investment, pipeline contribution, and conversion, and turn successful activity into repeatable systems.
  • Use Monday.com customer relationship management to build a reliable marketing and sales engine with Sales.
  • Segment prospects and customers and create targeted email, digital, nurture, and re-engagement campaigns.
  • Convert warm prospects, trade-show leads, and dormant opportunities into qualified sales conversations.
  • Build workflows for lead capture, follow-up, source attribution, and reporting.
  • Track marketing spend, generated opportunities, conversions, and repeatable activities.
  • Own the strategy and day-to-day execution of the company's content and brand presence.
  • Create and publish social content, particularly on LinkedIn, and develop case studies, email campaigns, presentations, and sales collateral.
  • Turn projects, customer outcomes, product innovation, technical education, and industry activity into useful content.
  • Maintain brand positioning and consistency across website content, photography, video, and customer communications.
  • Support product branding, packaging improvements, and new product launches.
  • Plan and evaluate trade shows and events, including budgets, stand concepts, collateral, promotion, lead capture, and Sales alignment.
  • Run post-event follow-up and nurture activity and measure resulting pipeline, revenue, and learning.
  • Build relationships with industry associations, media, suppliers, strategic partners, and specialist providers.
  • Represent the company with customers, distribution partners, and reseller marketing, category, and buying teams.
