As an Engineer on our team, you’ll work with Booz Allen colleagues and the client to develop, rapidly deploy, and integrate the next generation of resilient space, ground, and user capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters. Your customer will trust you to not only test, analyze, evaluate, validate, and verify these systems, but also to use your ingenuity and broad knowledge of potential sources of new technologies and concepts such as applicable national labs, prototypes, and products from SBIR activities, and other commercial IR&D efforts, to identify areas requiring mitigation up front to plan, develop, mature, and on-ramp technologies for use in future missions. You will support senior clients on budgetary and investment prioritizations. You will also collaborate with organizations to unearth future concepts and create enterprise roadmaps to capture, analyze, and communicate technology transition plans. You Have:
3+ years of experience with systems engineering on large-scale space, ground, software, or hardware systems, or Major Defense Acquisition Programs
Experience supporting overall engineering integration of Systems Engineering and Integration efforts for the Satellite Control Network, DoD, government agencies, or commercial programs
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools such as Magic Draw, Cameo, or SysML
Experience performing systems engineering in space or aerospace concepts and alternative design, architectural analysis, modeling and simulation, enterprise strategic planning, or digital engineering methodologies
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Knowledge of Linux, C++, Python, Perl, and Java
Knowledge of systems engineering standards and interoperability standards development in the areas of Space Enterprise Networks, Space Access Mobility and Logistics, Cybersecurity, User Segment, and Agile User Terminals
Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and use of Jira and Confluence
Knowledge of hypothesis-based experiments or proof-of-concept designs
Ability to demonstrate a dynamic work ethic and be highly motivated to contribute to the DoD mission
Possession of excellent interpersonal and communication skills
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
