Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience building and operating production data pipelines using ETL or ELT in a commercial setting.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Databricks, including Unity Catalog, Spark Declarative Pipelines, metric views, permissions, and row-level security.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills applied to data engineering, including building, testing, and supporting pipeline code through production.
  • Experience with data transformation or orchestration tooling such as Spark Declarative Pipelines, dbt, or an equivalent.
  • Solid grounding in data modeling using dimensional or star-schema approaches for analytics consumption.
  • Experience applying Git-based version control and CI/CD practices to data pipelines.
  • Experience ingesting data from CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot, product usage and telemetry systems such as CoreView's platform, UserPilot, Pendo, Amplitude, or Mixpanel, and other business systems.
  • Ability to implement, document, and operate according to an agreed direction with limited supervision.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for serving as the named contact for commercial teams asking questions about data.
Responsibilities
  • Take operational ownership of usage and adoption pipelines and their alerting.
  • Reconcile figures derived from the product-usage tool.
  • Separate development and production environments and mature CI/CD so deployment is repeatable and rollback is reliable.
  • Build and maintain Bronze-to-Gold pipelines in Databricks, Unity Catalog metric views, and the permissions and row-level-security model behind them.
  • Extend automated data quality checks across gold-layer tables and validate outputs against existing Power BI reports.
  • Co-own the scoping of usage and adoption signals with Product and Post-Sales, prioritizing upsell signals, developing the ROI narrative, and confirming required new instrumentation.
  • Handle schema drift, inconsistent field naming, soft deletes, and incremental loads in business system data.
  • Lead and own the consolidation of additional data sources, including support tickets, audit logs, CRM, and other customer-facing systems, while defining the feasibility, effort, cost, and implementation approach for a future unified data platform.
  • Establish documented pipelines, an access model for raw and transformed data, and an intake process for cross-department data requests.
  • Act as a point of contact for CoreView's Databricks estate.
  • Introduce automation and AI-assisted tooling, including automated monitoring and anomaly detection on metric movements, as the platform matures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Power BI or an equivalent business intelligence tool, including validating a migrated report against a legacy report.
  • Prior experience implementing data governance, a metric catalogue, or an access model from a low-maturity starting point.
  • Background in business-to-business software as a service.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude in a production engineering workflow.
