Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely entry of receiving and inventory documents. As the Inventory Clerk, reporting to the Inventory Manager, the ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timely processing. They are results-focused and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position is located at the PreCon Precast Plant in Woodstock, Ontario
Responsibilities
- Review inventory variances (JDE to physical count)
- Receiving of goods & maintenance in plants
- Completion and analysis of material consumption
- Analyzing pricing / quantity variance and coordinating for resolution
- Entry of inventory pick list for plant- maintaining a 5-day lead time
- Assist in the inventory count
- Review / report on labour efficiency
Technical Requirements
- Two years’ experience in the accounting/administrative/inventory field considered an asset
- Previous construction accounting experience at the clerical level considered an asset
- Technologically inclined with a strong knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience with Oracle systems considered an asset
