ML Software Intern

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with our medical image analysis team to develop and implement machine learning algorithms for medical image segmentation, classification, and analysis.
• Assist in curating and preprocessing large-scale medical image datasets, ensuring data quality and relevance for machine learning tasks.
• Developing on top of open-source or in-house machine vision models for classification and segmentation of Ultrasound and scope images, analyze and interpret the results of machine learning experiments, providing insights and recommendations to improve model performance.
• Participate in training and fine-tuning deep learning models for tasks such as tumor detection, organ segmentation, or disease classification.
• Document all experiments and findings in clear and detailed reports.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications)

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning principles, algorithms, and techniques, with a focus on their application in medical image analysis.
• Excellent Python Programming and Object Orient Design skills.
• Experience with popular machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Preferred Qualification:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about medical imaging challenges and potential solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Previous experience with medical image analysis project or research is a plus
• Familiarity with medical imaging modalities (e.g., MRI, CT, ultrasound) and related DICOM standards is a plus.

• The employee may be exposed to hazards including electrical sparking, water, and chemicals, for which proper protective equipment will be assigned and worn.
