Requirements
  • 5+ years of sourcing experience, or equivalent technical experience. Product Management, R&D, Process Technology, Production experience preferred
  • BS Chemical Engineering, BS Chemistry or equivalent degree required; MBA, MS, MSE preferred
  • Experience working with Water Treatment Polymers, and strong understanding of Polymer Chemistry
  • Ability to lead and work cross functionally with teams to balance solutions in accordance with budget, schedule and tools
  • Quick learner and can work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines is required.
Responsibilities
  • Working in fast paced high-pressure environment where change is constant and needs to be managed with internal and external stakeholders, customers and suppliers
  • Understanding Market Drivers and providing Market Intelligence; developing and maintaining Cost Models for price transparency and providing Forecasting
  • Analyzing spend data to identify cost savings and cash flow improvement opportunities
  • Creating and implementing procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within the industry
  • Managing preferred supplier network, including: identifying, developing, qualifying, onboarding, transacting and collaborating with a high number of suppliers for multiple categories
  • Negotiating contracts and purchases of chemicals to optimize supply and total cost of ownership, and executing and reviewing contracts ensuring compliance around pricing, payment terms, volume commitments, rebates.
