Requirements
  • The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
  • 2+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Expertise in working with Terraform or Cloud Formation.
  • 2+ years of experience working with software development teams.
  • Proficiency in working with scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience managing Identity and Access Management for cloud services.
  • Experience with compliance and monitoring systems.
  • Experience with Agile development (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Experience with microservice architecture.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-starter and driven.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree, or significant professional experience.
Responsibilities
  • The Cloud Engineer will be focused on the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure working very closely with developers and using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Oversee the deployment of cloud services and compliance to security guidelines.
  • Work in small interdisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and software developers following Agile development processes and embracing DevSecOps to ensure fast and secure delivery of software services.
  • Be eager to learn new technologies and stay on top of the latest cloud computing and software engineering trends.
  • Work on a team developing new code bases that are heavily object-oriented, extensible, and maintainable.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with container orchestration services.
  • IAT Level 2 Certification.
