Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • June 2026 Vascular Surgery Associates added 11 locations, nine surgeons, and a wound center.
  • July 2025 Coastal Vascular partnership deepened Southeast coverage and broadened recruiting appeal.
  • Sugar Land and Denison buildouts signal continued de novo expansion into dense Texas markets.

What critics are saying

  • Physician-rollup integration can fracture culture; one unhappy partner can unwind local referrals.
  • UnitedHealthcare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial reimbursement cuts hit outpatient vein procedures first.
  • If top surgeons defect after acquisition, StrideCare loses the very local franchise it buys.

What makes StrideCare unique

  • StrideCare built a lower-extremity specialty platform across vascular, podiatry, and wound care.
  • Its June 2026 Vascular Surgery Associates deal expanded StrideCare into Maryland, its fourth state.
  • On-site specialists, in-house vascular labs, and ambulatory surgery centers create sticky referral capture.
