Requirements
- A Degree in STEM, Early Education or related field is preferred, but also candidates with a personal passion or hobby in their preferred art form.
- Previous experience teaching , preferably in a formal educational setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students of all ages and backgrounds.
- Creativity, innovation, and a genuine passion for inspiring creativity and self-expression through art.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners and accommodate changes in schedule or curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and instructional materials for various art forms.
- Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to the needs and skill levels of diverse students.
- Provide hands-on guidance, demonstrations, and feedback to help students develop their artistic abilities.
- Manage classroom dynamics and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and critiques, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Engage with the local community and promote art education through exhibitions, showcases, and community events.
