About the role

The position is responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions. 

Responsibilities 

• Verify each vendor account balance by reconciling monthly statements against the AP Aging Report.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist in misc. accounting assignments and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Responsible for verification of any changes around vendor updates (banking details, address, W-9 submissions); work closely with AP Supervisor on necessary updates.
• Validate incoming vendor invoices; to include 3-way matching, obtaining appropriate documentation, credit memos for discrepancies and work closely with merchandising team on price/quantity review(s) and tickets.
• Work closely with the AP Supervisor on weekly preparation for payment proposal(s).

Qualifications

• 2+ years accounts payable experience
• College degree, preferably in accounting, with a good understanding of accounts payable
• SAP experience preferred.
• Proficient skills with MS Excel and MS Word
• Attention to detail, organized and high level of accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business.
• Preferred bi-lingual in English and Mandarin/Chinese

This role is onsite 5 days a week in Fremont, CA.

Compensation Range

• The US base hourly range for this role is $25.50 - $28.50 per hour
• Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
