Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field, or five or more years of federal contracting and pricing experience.
  • Experience preparing pricing quotes and proposals.
  • Knowledge of government and Department of Defense contracting and current acquisition trends.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using the Microsoft Office Suite to author documents and conduct financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills to interact across all levels of the corporation.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and develop detailed cost and pricing proposals in compliance with and response to United States Government Requests for Proposal.
  • Develop cost-estimating models and pricing strategies for complex projects based on Request for Proposal analysis, competitive price-to-win analysis, and historical cost-performance analysis.
  • Ensure complete and comprehensive pricing through thorough review of pricing requirements.
  • Compile and analyze cost and pricing data to develop compliant cost proposals, including mandatory narrative elements, in response to formal solicitations.
  • Develop and review proposal pricing models.
  • Review proposal compliance.
  • Develop cost and price information for proposals and contracts, including firm-fixed-price, time-and-materials, and cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts.
  • Collaborate across departments to develop pricing strategies for proposals presented to senior leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience working on multiple Requests for Proposals at one time and determining general and specific cost requirements.
  • Competence in price/cost volumes and pricing reports in accordance with solicitation instructions, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Supplemental Agency Regulations, and Cost Accounting Standards.
  • Relevant federal acquisition work experience, technical writing, and pricing analysis experience.
  • Firm understanding of government contracting, Department of Defense acquisitions, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation for the professional services industry.
  • General Services Administration or Department of Defense pricing experience.
