The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll design and build the systems and interfaces that power our logistics operations—everything from real-time vehicle tracking and automated dispatch to the tools dispatchers and drivers use daily. You’ll work across the stack, owning features end-to-end, and your work will have direct, visible impact on how our fleet operates and scales.

What You’ll Build

• Operational Workflows: End-to-end features that streamline how dispatchers and drivers manage loads, routes, and daily operations.

• Fleet Management Systems: APIs and data models for vehicles, trailers, drivers, and their integrations with third-party telematics (e.g., Motive).

• Real-Time Location Intelligence: Geofencing systems, telemetry pipelines, and event processing that track our fleet across North America.

• Load & Dispatch Optimization: Systems that validate schedule integrity, range constraints, and driver hours-of-service while maximizing efficiency.

• User Interfaces: Modern, responsive UIs in React/TypeScript that make complex workflows intuitive and actionable.

• Integration Platforms: Robust webhook processors and data pipelines that sync with external logistics providers, charging networks, and customer systems.

Our Tech Stack

• Frontend: React, TypeScript, Material UI, TanStack Query, Vite

• Backend: Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, PostgreSQL, Alembic

• Infrastructure: AWS (S3, Location Services), Docker, Supabase

• Data: Complex relational models for loads, stops, vehicles, drivers, trailers, geofencing events, and telemetry

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong record of shipping end-to-end features

• Frontend Expertise: Deep experience with React/TypeScript and modern UI patterns; ability to design clean, responsive UIs that handle complex workflows

• Backend Expertise: Strong command of Python, API development, and real-time/event-driven systems

• Full-Stack Capability: Comfortable moving fluidly between frontend, backend, and infrastructure as needed

• System Design: Ability to architect scalable, maintainable systems that balance performance with simplicity

• Integration Experience: Familiarity with third-party APIs, webhooks, and data synchronization challenges

• Bonus Points: Logistics, supply chain, or transportation experience; mapping/geospatial experience; use of AI tools to accelerate workflows

• Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams

Projects You Might Work On

• Building real-time load tracking that automatically detects truck arrivals/departures at facilities

• Developing dispatch optimization workflows that account for charging constraints, driver compliance, and vehicle range

• Designing intuitive UI components that let dispatchers manage complex schedules at a glance

• Engineering data pipelines that process and reconcile data from multiple sources

• Creating AI-powered document parsing and driver communication tools integrated into our TMS
