Test Manager

Test Manager - Automation Responsibilities Provides direction and leadership on all quality matters across the Platform / Channel including adoption and compliance with the organisations standards and policies whilst also being a strong advocate in the support of improvements to the same. Produces comprehensive and robust automation strategies that enables the Continuous testing practice work packages across the Platform / Channel value stream in line with the Domains strategy. Is accountable for all aspects of quality across both ‘run’ and ‘change’ activity within the assigned Platform / Channel. Is accountable for the output quality from all automated testing phases (Functional, non-functional) is owned and ensures it meets the requirements of the Quality (Test) Strategy including design, planning, risk, issue, dependency management and governance. Is accountable to ensure the defects are detected and reported to be prioritised (based on impact) with the Product Owners. Continually track and ensure that defects are resolved at the earliest possible moment. Creates positive collaborative working relationships across other CoEs and teams to continually improve quality and testing solutions. Industry standards & best practices are thought about and integrated where possible. Manages stakeholder relationships with all internal and external stakeholders including to a senior level within and outside the Domain where appropriate.
