- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.

- Identify expected outcomes for an individualized plan of care.
- Implement and coordinate care and provide education to promote health and a safe practice environment.
- Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes.
- Communicate effectively in a variety of formats in all areas of practice.
- Demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the nursing profession.
- Maintain knowledge and competence reflecting current nursing practice.
- Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge to Emergency Nursing practice, delivering care based on patients’ age-specific and clinical needs.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
