Requirements

  • Ability to read, interpret, and review construction specifications and drawings.
Responsibilities
  • Perform construction monitoring tasks, including interpreting applicable construction drawings.
  • Assist with reviewing plans and specifications, preparing checklists of contract features requiring periodic attention, and listing items subcontractors must submit for approval before work begins.
  • Assist with project budget creation and tracking.
  • Assist with project schedule creation and updating.
  • Assist with material and equipment procurement.
  • Send Plan of the Day reports to clients as needed.
  • Supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
  • Assist field crews and craft supervision with interpreting proposals, specifications, and drawings.
  • Maintain accurate document records.
  • Assist with preparing statements of work, submittals, change management, and required daily and weekly reports.
  • Promote safety in construction operations and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
  • Check and report on work progress in the field.
  • Observe work in progress to ensure procedures are followed and materials conform to specifications.
  • Understand, support, and communicate Company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and actively support Company training, safety, and management development initiatives when appropriate.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to read, interpret, and review construction specifications and drawings.
  • Experience with Bid2Win, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6.
  • Experience supervising subcontractors.
  • Experience with document control and material management.
