Requirements
  • We launched Rally, a platform that gives millions of fans the information they need about their events and integrates with technology in venues to elevate the live attendance experience
  • We built Amplify, an industry-leading tool for SeatGeek Enterprise clients to monitor sales and manage prices for major events
  • We laid the foundation for a new, modern architecture that powers SeatGeek.com, and rolled out a responsive redesign on top of it
  • JavaScript: You have an excellent grasp of the language. You keep up with the latest spec and look for every opportunity to use new features. You're familiar with at least one modern framework and clientside rendering technique. We use TypeScript and React to create our user interfaces, although specific knowledge of those is not a prerequisite
  • UI & Product Instincts: You have feelings about how a web page should look and feel, care about the nuances of how users will work with the product you're building, and aim to build inclusive and accessible experiences. We don't expect you to be a visual designer, but we're looking for someone who can build on the work of our experienced design team
  • Nice to haves: You have some experience with design tools like Figma or Sketch and some level of comfort with Python, Go, or Node.js. If you've never worked with any of these in your life but want to learn more about them, please still apply
Responsibilities
  • Build interactive, thoughtful, and inclusive UIs in React that are a delight to use
  • Create components and APIs for SeatGeek's frontend libraries
  • Collaborate with backend developers on a full-stack team to develop new features and products
