Requirements
  • The candidate must hold an MD or DO.
  • The candidate must successfully complete an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program.
  • The candidate must successfully complete an accredited Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship.
  • The candidate must have five or more years of practice with a subspecialty practice in Orthopaedic Trauma.
  • The candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • The candidate must be eligible for an Ohio Medical License.
  • The candidate must hold State of Ohio and DEA licensure.
  • Final candidates must successfully complete a background check; a drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process.
Responsibilities
  • Provide licensed medical care in orthopaedic surgery.
  • Diagnose patients and perform surgery, including pre-surgical and post-surgical care.
  • Provide staff education.
  • Collaborate on case management.
  • Conduct clinical research.
  • Manage complex and sometimes unpredictable situations.
  • Practice within established Medical Center and physician standards of practice, including policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Adhere to the Medical Center's key results areas and Intensive Caring Value Statements.
