Responsibilities

Perform month-end and year-end accounting close procedures and journal entries
Support day-to-day accounting operations, such as bank reconciliations, employee reimbursement approvals, corporate cards, expense reporting, and recording of invoice remittances
Support long-term accounting projects that will help enhance efficiencies as we grow our business
Assist in annual audits, taxes and other aspects of compliance
Ad hoc analysis/cross-functional projects

Desired Qualifications

CPA licensed or actively studying for the exam

The Role

The Staff Accountant will join a fast paced startup environment with a rapidly growing finance and accounting team. You’ll work closely with the Accounting Manager and will have extensive business operations exposure, from day to day financial transactions, cross-departmental projects, as well as facetime with our external auditors. This is a unique, entry level opportunity where you will work with and learn from a very talented, high performing finance team.

What You’ll Do:

The target base salary for this position ranges from $63,800 to $82,500, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable). When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. These considerations may cause your compensation to vary.

Ro recognizes the power of in-person collaboration, while supporting the flexibility to work anywhere in the United States. For our Ro’ers in the tri-state (NY) area, you will join us at HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For those outside of the tri-state area, you will be able to join in-person collaborations throughout the year (i.e., during team on-sites).
