Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Be comfortable performing physically demanding work, including occasionally lifting more than 50 pounds.
  • Be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Care for resort grounds by planting grass, shrubs, and bushes; applying fertilizer; and pruning trees and shrubs.
  • Maintain irrigation systems to ensure lawns, plants, and landscaping are properly watered and healthy.
  • Monitor and perform minor repairs on groundskeeping equipment.
  • Cut lawns using hand, power, and riding mowers, and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
  • Use hand tools and landscaping equipment to maintain and improve the appearance of resort grounds.
  • Remove litter, rake debris, pull weeds, and use a backpack blower on walkways.
  • Identify and safely remove tree limbs that pose a safety hazard.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Grounds Supervisor and Superintendent.
