Requirements
  • An active Secret clearance is required to be considered for the position.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required.
  • Three years of experience developing customized interfaces for weapon systems utilizing commercial and custom hardware are required.
  • Five years of experience developing customized interfaces for weapon systems are required.
  • Experience supporting hardware-in-the-loop simulators is required.
  • Experience with signal processing interfaces or diagnostic communications systems is required.
  • Basic computer literacy and data entry skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Problem-solving skills are required.
  • Strong time management skills are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment is required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future, is required.
  • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time and alternate between sitting, standing, and walking is required.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop hardware and software interfaces for undersea vehicle and weapon system integration.
  • Implement interfaces using commercial off-the-shelf and custom hardware solutions.
  • Integrate hardware stimulators and interface drivers into the WAF simulation environment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software interface components.
  • Develop and maintain software development tools supporting interface integration.
  • Support system integration testing and verification.
  • Document interface designs, modifications, and integration procedures in accordance with project documentation requirements.
  • Provide bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
