- A bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field, or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 10 years of experience as a lead engineer or leading projects of similar scope and complexity.
- Meet Department of Defense 8570 Information Assurance Technical Level III certification requirements.
- Hold one or more of the following certifications: Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, Cisco Certified Design Expert, or a government-approved vendor equivalent.
- Maintain an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance at the time of application.
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise network solutions, including local area, wide area, intranet, extranet, and data communications networks.
- Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning to support Army installation modernization efforts.
- Design and integrate network security measures aligned with Department of Defense standards.
- Evaluate, recommend, and integrate network hardware and software solutions for optimal performance and reliability.
- Serve as a technical lead on integrated project teams, supporting planning, scheduling, and execution activities.
- Participate in contract activities and status meetings with government stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver project documentation, plans, and technical reports to the Government.
- Support the integration of information technologies to improve system effectiveness across the enterprise.
- Maintain availability during core hours from 0900 to 1500 and support on-site operations at Fort Belvoir as required.
- Travel up to 25% as required.
- DevOps certification from Cisco, Microsoft, or another industry-recognized provider.
- Prior experience supporting the U.S. Army or other federal agencies.
