Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Immunology, Biology, or related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of previous related experience is required.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time at a computer and/or biosafety cabinet; ability to move within the worksite.
Responsibilities
  • Isolate peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) from whole blood using density gradient separation according to GLP guidelines.
  • Support team members with tissue processing and assays as needed.
  • Calibrate and operate of a variety of laboratory instruments such as serological pipet-aids, cell counters, centrifuges, controlled rate freezers, and liquid nitrogen freezers.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain accurate, daily records of experiments.
  • Assist with storage, retrieval, shipment of specimens and prepare shipping documents.
  • Share in responsibility of cleaning, re-stocking, and up-keep of the laboratory.
