  • Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering / Technology
  • 4+ years of experience with the service and repair of analytical laboratory instruments
  • Completion of the DoD Biomedical Technician course
  • 7+ years of experience as a service engineer
  • Demonstrated ability to operate without supervision
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Detail and action oriented
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft application suite
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Understanding of critical Customer Experience factors
Responsibilities
  • Performing assembly, disassembly, and repair work on analytical laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Utilizing test equipment, hand tools, and power tools
  • Documentation as required by company policy, cGMP, ISO, State Regulatory agencies, and FDA
  • Serving as a regional subject matter expert
  • Supporting software loading and updating, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and Pre-staging of new equipment
  • Monitoring personal parts stock and inventory
  • Conducting advanced service tasks and instrument configurations
  • Providing oversight and training to other team members
  • Supporting upgrade release activities
