Role Overview
As the Director of Engineering for our Quality, Performance, and Tools Organization, you will play a key role in improving the quality of experience we deliver to patients, care providers, and internal staff and in accelerating the growth of our business and achievement of our mission. You will oversee and lead teams responsible for QA and performance engineering. Additionally, you will drive improvements to our automation framework and automated testing solutions to enhance our product’s quality. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our products and services meet the highest standards. You will also take ownership of the staging, QA, and UAT environments.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Lead a team of manual and automation QA engineers responsible for developing and implementing quality systems and processes.
- Lead a team of performance and tools engineers responsible for performance testing and data generation.
- Develop and implement quality engineering strategies and initiatives that align with our business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products and services meet the highest quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of our products and services by creating KPIs and metrics for the measurement of quality.
- Provide mentorship and growth opportunities for team members and managers in their org to evolve in their roles.
- Lead recruiting efforts and hire passionate team members who embody Wellframe’s core values.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality engineering and ensure that our practices are aligned with these.
Education, Experience, & Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in quality engineering or related field.
- Proven track record of successfully building and leading quality engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles, tools, and techniques.
- Experience in developing and implementing automation testing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Passionate about leveraging their technical skills to help improve patient care.
