About the role:

We are looking for engineers interested in designing elegant solutions to difficult problems in the process automation space. As an infrastructure engineer, you will tackle projects across the full stack. Ranging from optimizing our build and deploy process, working with our engineering team to solve their infrastructure needs, deploying and monitoring our production infrastructure, enhancing developer productivity and working to keep our infrastructure and software secure and compliant. At Infinitus, we encourage engineers to take ownership over technical and product decisions, closely interact with users to collect feedback, and contribute to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture.

At Infinitus, you will:

Work at a cutting edge conversational AI company
Support system architecture, deployment, and maintenance for multiple customers with high availability
Build monitoring systems for deployed software and streamline the incident response process
Work collaboratively with developers on infrastructure, scalability and productivity problems
Work collaboratively with ML engineers to develop and support data pipelines, training infrastructure, and real time conversation systems

We are looking for someone who:

At least 5-6 years of full-stack or backend development experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
At least 7-10 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, deploying to and managing cloud infrastructure
A thorough understanding and experience with backend architecture design (data stores, load balancing, monitoring and alerting), containerization and cluster orchestration frameworks (such as Docker, Kubernetes etc)
A working knowledge of computer science fundamentals and a curiosity to learn and understand how systems work.
The skill & attributes to collaborate directly with customers, and represent us well while doing so
Experience working with a cloud infrastructure provider (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Nice to have:

Development experience in a variety of programming environments (At Infinitus we use a mix of Go, Python, Javascript/Typescript and Shell scripts)
Experience working with Google Cloud platform
Has prior experience at an early to mid stage startup
