The Advanced Development Programs (ADP) business has an immediate need for a Value Stream Leader (VSL) to support Special Projects in our growing portfolio. This Value Stream Leader will support the profit and loss responsibility for a highly competitive and strategic Military Engine Program. The VSL will lead and organize pursuit and proposal efforts to capture new work scope on Government Contracts. The VSL will lead cross functional teams of business development, engineering, operations and quality personnel to develop highly complex required to support next generation Military Engines.

This is an onsite role based in Windsor Locks, CT.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage cross-functional integrated product teams (IPTs) to develop complex control systems

• Define and recommend the prioritization of work across IPTs Engineering

• Lead and be accountable for Pursuit, Order, and Capture activities as part of growing the business, leveraging business development and engineering partners

• Interface with internal and external customers during program execution

• Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned programs

• Actively involved with Strategic Financial Planning and Annual Operating Plan processes for the Program

• Perform regular program LEs, EACs and Program Reviews

• Support Profit Assurance, and Staffing Reviews

• Support development of Gate reviews and Integrated Program Management Plans

• Ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets across programs as an integral member of the Value Stream

Qualifications You Must Have ​

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required  

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer 

• Experience with EVMS, Program management, and Risk & Opportunity management

• Have demonstrated ability to lead pursuit and capture efforts as part of proposals

• Experience with Military contracting requirements and proposals.

• Comfortable interfacing and communicating throughout the organization across different disciplines, as well as with different levels of leadership

• Experience with Engine Control Systems technologies including Fuel Pumping and Metering, Actuation, Electronic Engine Controls, Gearboxes, Heat Exchangers, Ignition, Sensors, and Effectors.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
