Requirements
  • A valid state-issued driver's license and any other licenses required by applicable federal, state, and local laws to operate a company vehicle.
  • Typically 1 or more years of vehicle glass installation, repair, replacement, recalibration, or closely related automotive service experience for Technician placement.
  • Typically 3 or more years of vehicle glass experience with demonstrated technical proficiency, quality performance, and independent operation for Senior Technician placement.
  • Typically 5 or more years of vehicle glass experience with advanced technical expertise and demonstrated mentoring, coaching, or training capability for Master Technician placement.
  • The ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and work in tight spaces while bending and twisting the body.
  • The ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • The ability to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws and agreement to monitored in-cab vehicle safety camera/video surveillance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide vehicle glass repair and replacement services at a Safelite Shop or Mobile Glass Shop efficiently, safely, and with quality, including cleaning customer vehicles after every job.
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems, including troubleshooting and completing diagnostic testing.
  • Operate Safelite tools and technologies, including True Seal, Ezi-Wire, Glass Table System, chemicals, work order and customer administration systems, and Mobile Resource Management technology.
  • Safely operate company and customer vehicles throughout the workday.
  • Communicate with scheduled customers in person, by text, and by phone, and present, promote, and sell Safelite promotional items and services.
  • At Senior and Master Technician levels, serve as a technical resource, support technician development, share best practices, and assist with coaching and mentoring.
  • Comply with company policies and standards and perform other assigned duties.

Guests can enjoy face painting, caricature art, fairy hair, cookie decorating, holiday cocktails, and hot chocolate, the perfect ingredients for a night of family fun under the twinkling lights.
