The Strategic Ledger Cross Functional Design Lead is responsible for leading the design for all cross workstream topics for the implementation of the Oracle general ledger and contract sub-ledger solutions across all lines of business, products, and geographies. This role will be the finance lead for all key design decision, working closely with the solution architecture team. They will help review the functional requirements for each release and will also help oversee all functional designs and ensure continuity of design across workstreams. During the design, build, and test phases for each release they will manage resolution of cross functional design issues. They will also be responsible for defining the requirements and design for the daily and nightly batch schedules. This role will require strong collaboration across multiple global finance and technology teams. This role requires strong knowledge of finance processes and ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will also possess good understanding of banking finance solutions and requirements. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication may be necessary. Accountable for the end results of the finance solution enterprise design.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross workstream design for each release of the Oracle General Ledger and Contract Sub-Ledger solution
- Resolve complex design issues throughout the implementation phase
- Manage design workshops covering key design decisions, detailed cross functional design, and batch design
- Assists in setting business architecture standards for Finance
- Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and applications
- Leads and directs a team of professionals.
- Applies in-depth knowledge of the business impact of process design and technical contributions.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry highly preferred
- Requires strong knowledge of finance processes and solutions, ideally with Oracle Cloud General Ledger
- Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
- In depth knowledge of banking products / systems highly preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
