Requirements
  • Bachelors in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a technical role focused on computer-vision applications and/or library development
  • Deep understanding of computer vision concepts, techniques, and algorithms, including deep-learning based vision pipelines
  • Proficiency in API design principles, standards, and best practices
  • Proficiency in C/C++/Python coding and debugging
Responsibilities
  • Drive the overall design & Implement Computer Vision APIs as part of the Snapdragon Vision API Suite
  • Guide development teams in developing and deploying Computer Vision APIs and API-based applications commercially
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, diagrams, and examples outlining the APIs and highlighting the benefits to end applications
  • Ensure solutions meet project timelines and KPI standards, while mitigating and addressing any potential schedule risks
  • Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and product teams at various stages of API design/validation/commercialization
  • Working within a fast-paced & collaborative environment with geographically & functionally distributed teams
Desired Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctorate in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
  • Familiarity with computer vision libraries like OpenCV, TensorFlow, Pytorch(Torch Vision)
  • Working Knowledge of Embedded systems and architectures, preferably Hardware CV accelerators
  • Familiarity with API documentation standards
  • Working Knowledge of Commercial Software development and SDLC processes
