Responsibilities;

• Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.

• Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements.

• Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.

• Provide support for the development or troubleshooting of systems.

• Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.

• Communicate project information through presentations, technical reports, or white papers.

• Monitor system operation to detect potential problems.

• Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements.

• Understand system analysis and drive discussions with various tech partners on the user requirements and document system flows.

• Understand financial advisory business and test the user stories based on their acceptance criteria in JIRA Stories.

• Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, Java, Spring Boot, and rest specifications.

• Utilize full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging.

• Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment.

• Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka.

• Utilize JIRA and Agile tools to create user stories and refine business requirements.

• Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and

• 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

• Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

• Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, Java, Spring Boot, and rest specifications;

• Utilizing full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging;

• Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment;

• Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka; and,
