- Associate degree in a technical field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience including a minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB/PCBA inspection required
- Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
- Experience with microscopic visual inspection
- IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 certification
- Experience with ERP and PLM software systems
- Proficiency with reading engineering documents, CAD drawings, and detailed work instructions
- Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner
- Executing Quality Control processes associated with purchased product, manufacturing operations, and customer quality requirements
- Inspection of printed circuit boards / assemblies (PCB / PCBAs), verification of electrical, electronic, and electromechanical (EEE) components, and cable assemblies
- Inspection using calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and VMMs (Vision Measuring Machine)
- Documentation of inspection activities using electronic information systems, written logs, and labels
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and improvements of inspection methods, inspection plans, and internal quality procedures and processes
- Assist with the resolution to internal/external nonconformance using root cause, corrective action, and 8D methodologies
- Assist in data analysis and reporting of department metrics as required
- Assist with the continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in the resolution of audit findings, observations, and recommendations
- Assist with the control and disposition of non-conforming material (MRB)
- Drive scheduling of day-to-day processes; ensure timely and accurate turnaround
- Other QC duties as assigned
