  • 8+ years in a technical product management or equivalent role in an engineering platform organization
  • Demonstrated experience weighing technical tradeoffs with a focus on impact to end user and business outcomes
  • A proven track record of collaborating effectively with a wide range of cross-functional partners including members of Engineering, Design, Data and Machine-learning disciplines
  • Experience clearly communicating about the impact of technical considerations to a wide variety of audiences through strategy documents and presentations and live Q&A sessions
  • While you won’t be writing code, you should have a working understanding of REST APIs, cloud services, distributed systems design, webhooks, Web & Mobile SDKs and templating languages.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate user requirements against open-source options, SaaS vendors, and technical and architectural choices.
  • Collect and prioritize internal and external customer requirements and goals.
  • Work with engineering, design, data, ML, and marketing teams to design, evaluate, and prioritize solutions.
  • Enhance Hinge’s notification infrastructure, focusing on incremental value towards a fully functional notification platform.
  • Devise, track, and communicate the status of OKRs and KPIs to Hinge’s leadership.
  • Promote the capabilities, address gaps, and highlight upcoming improvements of Hinge’s notification platform internally.
