Life Safety Systems / Fire Protection Designer

Overview

We are seeking a Life Safety Systems / Fire Protection Designer for assignment. The selected candidate will work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing and research facilities.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Candidates can sit in one of the following locations:

• Austin, TX
• Phoenix, AZ
• Pittsburgh, PA
• Albany, NY
• Portland, OR

Responsibilities

- Create 3D models in coordination with Architects and Engineers

- Design Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, Security and Intrusion detection systems

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED

- 3+ years’ Life Safety Systems design experience with Fire Alarm Systems, Voice Evacuation, Gas Detection, VESDA, Access Control and/or CCTV

- Proficient in AutoCAD

- Revit experience is highly preferred

- Knowledge of  IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code is highly preferred
