  • Proven experience (1-2 years) as a people leader
  • Thorough understanding of employee benefits principles, regulations, and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive benefits strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams, direct reports, external vendors, and consultants
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs
  • Stay informed about federal, state, and local laws and regulations impacting employee benefits
  • Manage relationships with benefit plan providers, brokers, third-party administrators, and other vendors
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees about benefits options
  • Analyze data related to employee demographics, utilization patterns, and costs
  • Partner proactively with payroll, finance, and other departments
