Requirements
  • At least three months of relevant professional experience

  • Expertise in specific technologies taught in the course
  • Desire to guide the growth and development of the newest generation of industry professionals
Responsibilities
  • Meet consistently with students to review and address student progress and needs via HW/ project review and assessment
  • Work cohesively with the instructional team and student success teams to inform and report student achievement and progress and facilitate extensions for students struggling or transcending expectations
  • Proactively identify and execute opportunities to build positive classroom culture and GA community engagement
  • Practice a growth mindset by setting professional goals to develop instructional practices, classroom culture techniques, and content development in the tech discipline taught.Responsible for students receiving accurate, proactive, meaningful, and prompt feedback on their progress
  • Prioritize and drive student achievement to established learning objectives and graduation requirements. Guide students through the development of real world projects that will showcase their skills
  • Responsible for students receiving accurate, proactive, meaningful, and prompt feedback on their progress
  • Maintain proactive and timely documentation of student data and progress tracking in centralized course tracker
  • Model high expectations for all students and inspire students to persevere through the challenges of learning a new skill set. Work directly with students to help guide them through a rigorous, transformational journey towards junior roles in a new field
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience as an instructional associate or teaching assistant, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or building a team
