Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, or other technical discipline
  • Minimum of 10+ years of related experience
  • Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages
  • Ability to work onsite at Fort Sam Houston roughly 50%
  • Clearance Required: Secret
Responsibilities
  • Collect data from databases, web-based sources and tools, industry reports, public information, and/or internal sources related to the Army Portfolio Management System (APMS)
  • Investigate current practices and lead brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for areas to improve current implementations to APMS
  • Turn APMS data into valuable insights for operational decision-making and strategic planning
  • Provide direction to team which prepares reports, dashboards, and graphic illustrations of findings
  • Collaborate with functional areas to develop and maintain performance metrics, measurements, methods, and targets
  • Present findings to general officers and senior executive staff and internal stakeholders
  • Make recommendations based on an understanding of the Department of Defense, Department of the Army, Army Materiel Command (AMC), and IMCOM strategy and stakeholder needs
  • Lead working groups, in process reviews, and program management reviews which includes Department of Defense, Department of the Army, AMC, and IMCOM stakeholders
  • Prepare senior-level presentations that communicate the as-is and the to-be states and clearly demonstrates business value to be gained from an improvement
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD (Army Preferred)
  • Experience leading Integrated Product Team (IPT)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience with TMT/ETMS2
  • Experience with APMS
  • Experience with eMASS
  • Knowledge of the FAR, DFARs, and/or NFS
